FAVORITE LINKS in Vista Explorer – How to ADD and REMOVE them.
The Explorer Favourites Menu is located in the Top Left-Hand side of the Windows Vista Explorer Window:

The Favorite Links menu is in fact simply a folder that holds shortcuts. Once you get the idea, it’s quite easy to add or remove items that are in fact shortcuts to that list of link

Adding one or more CUSTOM links to the Favorite Links
- Open Windows Explorer
- In the Favorite links menu right-click an empty spot and select Open Favorites Links Folder. - A new window will appear, and when you look closely at it you’ll see that it is in fact the C:\Users\USERNAME\Links folder.
- Right-click an empty spot in the right pane of the window and select New > Shortcut
- In the “Browse for files or folders” window browse to the folder of your choice.
- Give the new shortcut a name of your choice, then press Finish.

Hiding one or more links from the Favorite Links
To hide one or more link from the Favorite links menu you can simply right-click that link and select Remove Link.
