MC Menu Customiser
MC Menu Customiser allows you to change Vista Media Center’s Start Menu by adding, removing and repositioning menu items and strips to your liking.
How to use
* Click and drag menu items and drop them onto any of the plus signs where you would like them to be re-positioned.
* Add a custom strip by clicking the button on the top left hand corner of the program. (Hover over it, and it will say “New Custom Strip”
* Built-in menu items can not be added to a custom strip.
* Only one custom 3rd party application can be added to a built-in strip.
* Clicking on the Title of a strip will set that that strip to the default (the first shown strip in VMC start menu). This is shown by a faint highlight around the entire strip.
* Clicking on any menu item within each strip will set that item to the default for the strip (the first shown menu item for each strip). This is shown by a faint highlight around the menu item.
Hovering the mouse over any strip or menu item shows extra UI elements, including:
- CHECKBOX - Unchecking will disable/hide items from the VMC start menu.
- PENCIL/NOTE BUTTON – Clicking this allows you to rename the menu item / strip label text.
- DELETE BUTTON - Only for custom strips and 3rd party menu items. Select to remove strip/menu item from menu.
- UP / DOWN BUTTONS – Click to move the strip up and down the list.
